Burnt Toast was a ska band comprised of Rice University students. They were popular at on-campus parties and they recorded the one album that you obtained a copy of.
The title of the album, "...a burrito every 40 seconds," is a reference to the studio costs incurred when recording the album. Every 40 seconds in the studio cost the same as a burrito.
As the 2013 post indicates, they were Rice University students. They graduated while Ska was still rapidly ascending in popularity, but scattered to jobs and post-graduate endeavors instead of trying to catch Ska's rising wave and riding it as a band.
