Female fronted British punk-reggae song. They released 3 singles and, later, a cd compilation, but I think this is their only ska/reggae influenced song.

In Search of the Ska
I recently had a friend visit from Germany. We hung out for a few days, drank a lot of beer, and listened to a lot of music. This guys musical collection is as extensive and impressive as my own.
I mentioned that he should start a blog of his own but he said he didn't have the time.
Apparently he found the time because this is his blog here:
In Search of the Ska
It follows in the Tone and Wave tradition of exposing those little known one-off ska songs by bands that don't usually play ska. A lot of it is in German, but I have been given a peek behind the curtain and I know a lot will be in English and other languages.
He just started it but it has potential to be a great blog.

Skankin' Pickle 1990 demo cassette [REPOST]
People write to me every now and then and ask me if they can re-post something I've posted. My answer is always YES. Please help me put this stuff out there so that real ska fans have access to it somehow or another.
This tape is something that I know a lot of people will appreciate so if you have a blog by all means re-post this. It's Skankin' Pickles' first recording and is all but impossible to find. There are 4 songs that were never released on any of their later records as well as a studio version of Burnt Head which was only released as a live recording on Skafunkrastapunk.
(Oh yeah, on this version of "I Missed the Bus" he was watching a Panasonic, not a Magnavox. It's a strange world.)

Willo Selects - Rare Australian ska 1980 - 1986
Things have been extremely busy here at Tone and Wave headquarters so I haven't had much time to post anything. I do have lots of new stuff as well as re-posts but I just don't have the time this week.
Working hard AND hardly working. You can do both. It's called multi-tasking.
Your friend and mine Willo J Irie has stepped up to the plate to provide an interesting podcast of rare Australian ska which are all unique rips. Never before posted on Tone and Wave or anywhere else on the WWW.

I hope to post something in the middle of the upcoming week, but no promises.
(Thanks Willo for the Jump Vision track. I've never found my own copy yet. It's good to finally be able to hear it!)
