Spider Babies - Monster Mash 7" (1984)

 This is not ska. The B-side is hard rock and I think people who like old Bon Scott era AC-DC would like it. (I never said they sound like AC-DC, I just said that AC-DC fans would like it.)

The A-side is a punk/reggae cover of Bobby Pickett's Monster Mash. Actually, the whole song is punk but it begins and ends with a punk-reggae beat. 

 I don't know where this band was from but this single was issued with a cover. My record doesn't have the cover but you can see a teensy-tiny picture of the cover on Discogs. If you read the comment on this entry you'll see a band member saying that this a one-off implying that the band never released anything else.   

I don't care much for the B-side but the A-side is really good. And this record is quite rare.
