This has to go down as one of the best albums ever, all credit to the original poster for proliferating
Download, listen and learn
Quality!
And yes, I caught them once in Camden by off chance, whole story there, could bore the shit outta you but they were the best thing I ever saw, not really seen anything since to beat them either
Just fucking download it!
Hail, Hail!
We all have those great stories, but I love hearing them as much as I love telling them.
It wouldn't be boring in the slightest.
suffice to say I had been to a gig at the Electric Ballroom, the usual suspects were involved, Cockney Rejects, Low Numbers & Kidz Next Door, not overly impressed so left a little early due to the Nazi skins pissing me off
as I walked up toward the tube station I passed the (then) Music Machine and was given a flyer, it had a free entry ticket for the gig that night which happened to be the Basement 5
I asked whether there was any point going in and was told that the band hadn't started, in I went and a good time was had by all
What happened to Boss? I forget the link but they had something to do with a member or members of Basement 5, we all know that Leo went on to Big Audio Dynamite etc
which reminds me Nick Hawkins who played in BAD II was a friend of mine, great geezer, sorely missed
It will be interesting to hear this. I bought the white Christmas single when it was released, and didn't hear any more about Basement 5.
Cheers,
Tarkers
