Thank you so much for this. I have the vinyl in california, and have been missing this album for well over a decade. Have never seen any digital format, and have even searched for it to no avail in the last 6 months. DOn't know why I didn't come across your post earlier. very very grateful!

This is wonderful ... your burn is so much better than mine! This is one of my all time favorite albums. And I have gotten so much from this site. I'm 38, lived through the ska scene in NY in the 80's and feel like I'm there all over again. THANK YOU!!!!

(Do you have any Second Step other than what is on NY Beat?)

CORRECTIONS: Tracks 5 and 6 are really one track/cut. Twisted Step and Under Pressure need to be in the same audio file so that they play immediately after each other. So, really, although there are twelve song names, there are really eleven tracks. (these two songs ended side A)

The Boilers were the most innovative and influential band to come out of the 80's NYC Ska scene. Enjoy this quality burn!!!!

I understand that you think you are doing something cool with this but to be honest, because of sites like this, many independent artists are having serious problems earning a living with their music. Not because the music is not valuable but because you are stealing from us by doing this. PLEASE THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING. THE MUSICIANS WHOSE MUSIC YOU APPRECIATE SO MUCH ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE OF WIDESPREAD ABUSE LIKE THIS.
SINCERELY
King Django!
(The Boilers, Skinnerbox, Skadanks, the Slackers, Stubborn All-Stars et al.)

King Django, I totally get what you are saying about posting digital copies of your old albums online, and I ALWAYS pay for music . . . when that is an option. I ask this as a serious and respectful question though, what can we do when paying for it is not an option? If we find an old used vinyl copy (I used to have one, but it was lost in the mists of time), the money still doesn't go to you. Is that different from posting a copy online? If something is out of print, and if you won't release a digital copy to monetize it for yourself, what options do fans have other than just forgetting your music?

BTW, always a big fan - particularly Skinnerbox.
