Crucial DBC formed in the early 80s in California and released four cassettes. This is one of them. I know they had another one called "Dread Rock" and I don't know what the other two are called or what years any of them were released.
The band was lead by Norman Jones who teamed up with Dave Wakeling in General Public and later The New Radicals.

Actually, they formed in Ohio (Rockerstown, aka Bowling Green), and used to play Milton's.
I've seen them there and in California, and they are awesome.
"Universal Melody" was always a favorite, and ""Guatemala"" as well. I still have a glossy of Norm from back in the day.

I am the trombone player, an original member of the group. We did indeed form in Ohio in late 84, moving to Cali in late 86. Our first release, made in Ohio, was Bloodsucker. Then in Cali we made, Haunted World, Dread Rock and What's Next. Good music, good times! Thanks for remembering!
