The Blue Beat - DC (1989)

If I had to guess I would say that "DC" refers to "Demo Cassette". They did do a demo tape in 1985 which was untitled. I don't have that one yet.

2 Fire

3 P.I.L.L.

4 You've Got the Choice

For the record I do possess the physical copy of this tape and this download is from my own recording of the tape. The inlay is hand-written and I believe it's the same copy that's on Discogs. I'm currently in negotiations to trade this tape for the 1985 demo. Of course, if that goes through I will post the demo. If it doesn't then I am willing to trade this tape for, I don't know...something. I'm not going to sell it because I don't need the money but I am willing to pass it on to a true collector in exchange for something I don't have yet. There were probably less than 10 copies of this tape made in 1989. It's a museum piece. Who wants it?

va Do the Ska! In with the New (1995)

This is a compilation CD compiled by Sean Flowerdew. The cover says "With 10 Exclusive Tracks" which may have been true for the time but, with the exception of two songs, I think every song on here has been included on other releases since then .

The Frenchise - Skank, Surf, & Swing (demo 1999)

The Frenchise was a Canadian ska band that never released anything aside from one song on a compilation of Canadian ska bands called 2 Tongue: Le Quebec En Montre Toute Une from 1999. *

This is their demo CD.

3 Little Sin

4 Notre Province

5 Jour et Nuit

6 Fade

7 Incognito (demo 1997)

*I could be wrong that they never released anything else. That's what I was told. But the title of that last track does say "demo 1997" which makes me think they have at least another demo, if nothing else, out there somewhere.

MU330 - Salamander Stew (1991)

I have never been able to find a copy of this tape so I do not have a rip to share.

In the past few weeks this was posted by two different sources.

There is a new YouTube channel called Ska Tapes which has also posted the complete Aquabats - Revenge of the Midget Punchers tape.

And Dennis Castro from the Ska in St. Louis Facebook page has posted a download link including images of the tape and inlay. (Posted January 29th).
