Bette Bright REPOST

Someone requested that I re-post Bette Bright and normally I put the re-posts in the MEGA Re-Up folder and I keep on truckin' but I found those files and started listening and I heard this great music again for the first time.

I always focused on the ska-leaning stuff. The Clive Langer productions. The "What Would Suggs Do" sort of songs while I ignored the rest.

But today I realize that a song I always skipped is probably the best song in her discography.

"On a Night Like This" is probably the best pop song I have ever heard. Well, it's in my list for the top 1 million pop songs ever written. I listened to it a few times. I'm a song-writer myself. Someday I hope to be able to write "A Song Like This".
