This post is a good excuse for me to say thanks- both for all the posts over the many years that you've been doing the work (it's a ton of work to rip and label hard-to-find recordings AND to research and write up a lil info for each band), and for resuscitating the blog after your hiatus. I know it's probably for a limited-time, but it's good to see you post, and good to see you shrug off the haters and the losers. My first college girlfriend got me hooked on the Jumpstarts song "This Is What I Do" back in 1999 (maybe even '98) and I was so obsessed that I remembered it all these years later and could even sing along with the trombone solo darn near perfectly when i found it here on Tone And Wave two years ago. Still such a great song, and thanks to you I've found a few more to go with it. Thanks again!
